Barbara Ann (Bevil) Livesay

     Barbara Ann Livesay, age 87 of Anna, died Thursday, February 2, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born March 29, 1935 in Cobden, the daughter of Robert Lee and Lovena (Smith) Bevil. She married Edwin “Creek” Livesay on January 14, 1956 in Wolf Lake.

     Barbara is survived by her husband of 67 years, Edwin “Creek” Livesay of Anna; fur baby, Little Jenny; two daughters, Pamela Rosenthal of Wolf Lake, Sondra (Karry) Pender of Jonesboro; son, David (Mindy) Livesay of Wolf Lake; six grandchildren, Jodi (Scott) Treece, Tim Rosenthal, Justin (Lindsey) Pender, Christopher (Vanessa) Pender, Andrew (Jessie) Livesay, Abbey Livesay; nine great-grandchildren, Austin (Maggie) Treece, Kayla (Michael) Calhoun, Braeden Treece (Carlie Clausen), Ava Rosenthal, Shelby Pender, Rhiannon Livesay, Lane Livesay, Jaydra Pender, Cole Pender; four great-great-grandchildren, Waylon and Wrenley Treece, Braxten and Landreigh Calhoun and one more on the way in the fall; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

     Barbara was a member of the Galilee Baptist Church in Wolf Lake for many years. She and her husband Ed owned and operated Livesay T.V. in Anna for over thirty years. She loved to work in her flower garden, her green thumb produced many beautiful flowers. Barbara was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she cherished spending time with all of her family.

     Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 5, 2023 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Davy Miller officiating. Friends may visit after 1:00 p.m. and until the service hour at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 5, 2023 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wolf Lake Park. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
