Dale Hickam Obituary

     Dale Hickam, age 74 of Alto Pass, died Saturday, May 20, 2023 at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale. He was born April 13, 1949 in Alto Pass, the son of Aubrey and Lydia (Berry) Hickam. He married Vonda Parsons on December 24, 2008 in Alto Pass.

     Dale is survived by his wife, Vonda Hickam of Alto Pass; daughter, Jennifer “Suzie” (Eric) Winchester of Alto Pass; son, Christopher Dale Hickam of Cobden; two step-sons, Roger William Pressler II and John Jennings (Frannie) Pressler both of Imperial, PA; four grandchildren, James (Nicole) Parmly, Jacob Parmly, Kayleigh Pressler, Jenna and Gabe Winchester; one great-grandson, Harrison Parmly; one brother, Donald Hickam of Pomona; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, James Hickam and two sisters, Esther Bennett and Janice Rendleman.

     Dale was a member of the First Baptist Church in Alto Pass for many years. He loved working on his farm and tending to his cattle. He enjoyed “working the dirt” with his excavating equipment.

     Funeral services will be at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, May 25, 2023 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Pastor Carroll Toler officiating. Friends may visit after 3:00 and until the service hour at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, May 25, 2023 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
