Linda L (Harris) Ross

    Linda Harris Ross, age 79 of Cordova, TN, died Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at her home. She was born on February 15, 1944 in ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Anna, the daughter of Guy and Muriel (Barnhart) Harris. She married Jim Ross on January 18, 1963 in Carbondale.

    She is survived by her husband Jim Ross of Cordova, TN; her children, Kevin (Jackie) Ross of Apollo Beach, FL, Michelle (Craig) Olson of Gig Harbor, WA and Jason (Alicia) Ross of Memphis, TN; grandchildren, Alex Ross of Dallas, TX, Noah Ross of Tampa, FL, Ely Ross of Apollo Beach, FL, Katheryn and Caroline Mitchell of Charlotte, NC, Will Mitchell of Gig Harbor, WA and Erica Ross of Memphis, TN; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Guy Harris, Jr. and Ramona Almonrud.

    Linda’s greatest achievement was raising her three children into successful, responsible adults.  Besides being an excellent mother, wife and homemaker, Linda volunteered with the Memphis Exchange Club, taught others how to scrapbook, and owned and operated a residential lighting distributor showroom. Linda was a member of the First Evangelical Church, Memphis, TN.

    Graveside funeral services for Linda Ross will be held at 10:00 a.m. Sunday, March 26, 2023 at the Anna Cemetery. Interment will follow. Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Mid-South Parkinson’s Disease Foundation and Support Group; 1512 Pine Shadows Dr, Memphis, TN 38120. Envelopes will be available at the at the cemetery.
