Marvin Harris Obituary

Marvin Lee Harris, age 76 of Jonesboro, died Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at his home. He was born June 27, 1946 in Chester, the son of Ralph Lee and Francis Louise (Weherhime) Harris.

Marvin is survived by his sons, Brian and Bill Harris; siblings, Nancy Williams of Jonesboro, Phillip Harris of Du Quoin, Ralph Harris, Leo Harris and Anita Harbor all of Clinton, KY, Roger Harris of Wolf Lake, Paul Parker and Steven Parker; niece, Tammy Williams-McKee of Ripley, TN; nephew, Joe Williams of Jonesboro; many other nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; one sister, Mary Keefer; and two brothers, Daniel, and Ernie Harris.

Marvin was an over the road truck driver until his retirement. Anytime Marvin was not out driving the truck you could find him in his vegetable garden or fishing.
